Agnes Questionmark (Rome, Italy, 1995) is an artist working across performance, sculpture, video and installation. Most important long-durational performances include CHM13hTERT (2023), presented in a public train station at SpazioSERRA, Milan and TRANSGENESIS (2021), presented with The Orange Garden and Harlesden High Street in London. Her work has been shown at the 60th Venice Biennale (curated by Adriano pedrosa); 14th Gwangju Biennale (Italian Pavilion); 18th Quadriennale di Roma (Italy); Centre d’Art Contemporain, Geneva; Frankfurt Kunstverein; MAXXI Museum (Rome); MACRO Museum (Rome); 1st Malta Biennale (Valletta, 2024); Klima Biennale Wien (2026); Museum of the Moving Image (MOMI); Mimosa House, London; ICA Milano; Triennale di Milano; Casa Flash Art (Milano); Ilmin Museum (Seoul); Konig Galerie (Berlin) and AWL Gallery (Girona, Spain).
Her first Italian solo show was presented at SPE - Spazio Performatico ed Espositivo Dello Scompiglio (Lucca); Her writing has been published with NERO Magazine and presented at the ICA Milano.
She was finalist for Premio Michetti (2026); Mario Merz Prize (2025); Premio Conai (2025); Darmo Art Prize (2024); Ducato Prize (2023); CIRCA Prize (2022).
